The National Education Union is the UK’s largest education union. We are an effective and powerful voice – championing everyone who works in education.
We are committed to making the education sector:
- a great place to work, by continuing to campaign for sustainable workloads, fighting for a fairly-funded education system and championing your pay and working conditions
- a great place to teach which values and promotes professional expertise and learns from relevant data
- a great place to learn with a broad curriculum to motivate learners, allowing them to develop their interests and skills for the future.
NEU Swansea aims to provide our members with a better value service than the cost of the membership fee.
We will do this by:
- Providing a high-class support service for members with questions, problems and difficulties;
- Offering professional and leisure activities for members.

Together March
On Saturday 28 March people from all over Britain will be gathering in London for a massive show of strength & unity against the far right.
Swansea Together on March 28
- Picking up Llanelli Town Hall, SA15 3DD at 5.45am
- Picking up Swansea Brangwyn Hall, SA1 4PE at 6.15am
- Picking up Briton Ferry McDonalds, SA11 2YW at 6.30am
- Picking up from Sarn Services, CF32 9SY at 6.45am
- Returning from central London at 5pm.
The Together Alliance is made up of over 200 organisations and is supported by many individuals. These organisations and individuals are currently working together throughout Britain to make sure that the protest in London is massive.
The march will take place on the same day as millions take to the streets of the US on ‘No Kings’ demonstrations against Trump & ICE in the wake of the Minneapolis murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
This is our chance to give a massive boost of confidence to anti racists everywhere as they prepare to take on Reform UK in the May elections and the far right on the streets.
We need the biggest turn out possible from Swansea and surrounding areas to the anti racist march called by the Together Alliance in London on March 28.
In Swansea and Wales, the far right have been trying to get people to blame migrants, Muslims and refugees for the lack of housing, failing services and the growing cost of living. We need to put a stop to their campaigns of hatred and division.
Our nation is full of anti racists, Swansea is a proud City of Sanctuary. We all need to make a stand against the division and hatred of the far right!
Join us to make March 28 a huge success.
